Delivery Lead Jobs in Vermont: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a delivery lead in Vermont?
Most delivery lead roles in Vermont require a valid Vermont driver's license and at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for candidates who have prior logistics or delivery driving experience. Employers typically promote from within, so starting as a delivery driver and demonstrating reliability and team coordination skills is the most direct path. Commercial Driver's License training programs offered through Vermont Technical College can strengthen your candidacy for larger fleet operations.
Which companies hire delivery leads in Vermont?
Vermont delivery lead roles are posted by Domino's, American Traveler, and Primo Brands and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Vermont's mix of rural logistics networks, regional food distributors, and healthcare supply operations means openings appear across a wide range of employer types throughout the state.
Which Vermont cities have the most delivery lead jobs?
Williston, Newport, and Brattleboro have the highest concentration of delivery lead openings in Vermont. Burlington drives the largest share of postings given its role as the state's commercial and healthcare hub, while Montpelier and Rutland attract openings tied to state government distribution needs and regional retail and wholesale operations anchored in central and southern Vermont.
Are there remote delivery lead jobs in Vermont?
Yes, but they're rare. Delivery lead roles are primarily field-based, involving direct supervision of drivers, route management, and hands-on coordination that requires an on-site presence. About 0% of delivery lead openings tied to Vermont are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those positions tend to focus on dispatch coordination or logistics planning rather than active fleet supervision.
How can I get hired as a delivery lead in Vermont with little or no experience?
Starting as a delivery driver with a Vermont employer and expressing interest in a lead role is the most realistic entry path. Casella Waste Systems and regional food distributors operating across Vermont regularly hire entry-level drivers and advance dependable employees into supervisory positions. Completing a forklift certification or a logistics fundamentals course at Community College of Vermont strengthens your profile, as does experience in adjacent roles like warehouse associate or route assistant that build the coordination skills employers look for.
Where can I find and apply to delivery lead jobs in Vermont?
You can find and apply to delivery lead jobs in Vermont on Migrate Mate, which lists current Vermont openings from employers across the state. Search the listings, find roles that fit your experience and location, and apply directly to the ones that match.
