Total Solutions is seeking a relationship-driven Business Development Coordinator to help expand our client base and strengthen our presence in the business community. This role focuses on building meaningful professional relationships, developing referral partnerships, and generating new business opportunities.
This is not a high-volume cold-calling position. Success comes from networking, community involvement, strategic relationship building, and becoming a trusted resource to business owners and decision-makers.

Responsibilites
Business Development
- Generate new client opportunities through networking and relationship-building activities.
- Develop relationships with business owners, executives, nonprofit leaders, and community influencers.
- Build strategic referral partnerships with accountants, attorneys, bankers, insurance brokers, benefits consultants, chambers of commerce, and other professional service providers.
- Conduct discovery meetings to identify Accounting, HR/Benefits, Marketing and Payroll challenges.
- Present Total Solutions services and solutions to prospective clients.
- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in the CRM.
- Create and execute an annual business development plan.
Relationship Management
- Develop relationships with existing clients to identify additional service opportunities and ensure retention.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth transitions from sales to service.
- Attend community events, chamber meetings, industry conferences, and client functions.
- Become an ambassador for the Total Solutions brand.
Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support the business development plan.
- Support client appreciation events and educational workshops.
- Leverage LinkedIn and professional networking platforms to build awareness and connections.
Compensation
Base: $50-60k/yr
OTE with performance-based commission and bonus opportunities: $70-$80k/yr.
