About the Opportunity
Legacy Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking passionate, energetic, and student-focused Elementary Teachers (Kindergarten–5th Grade) for multiple charter school partners located on the Northside and Westside of Jacksonville, Florida.
We are seeking both Certified Teachers and Non-Certified Teachers who are committed to academic excellence, student achievement, and creating a positive learning environment where all students can succeed.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators, recent graduates, career changers, and individuals pursuing Florida teacher certification.
Position Summary
The Elementary Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging instruction aligned with Florida Standards, fostering positive relationships with students and families, managing classroom behavior, and supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective daily instruction for elementary students in grades K–5.
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with Florida Standards and school curriculum.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Utilize data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
- Establish and communicate high expectations for student achievement and behavior.
- Collaborate with administrators, instructional coaches, and fellow teachers.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Implement classroom management strategies that support a positive learning culture.
- Follow all school, district, state, and federal policies and procedures.
Qualifications – Certified Teachers
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
Valid Florida Teaching Certificate or eligibility for certification.
Strong instructional and classroom management skills.
Knowledge of Florida Standards and best instructional practices.
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications – Non-Certified Teachers
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required.
Previous teaching, tutoring, youth development, coaching, or educational experience preferred.
Desire to pursue Florida teacher certification.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Passion for working with elementary-aged students.
Ability to successfully complete all required background screening requirements.

- Florida Reading Endorsement.
- ESOL Endorsement.
- Exceptional Student Education (ESE) experience.
- Charter school experience.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Knowledge of educational technology platforms.
