Most Michigan employers expect a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, combined with several years of B2B sales experience. Many candidates build toward the role through inside sales or account management positions at Michigan-based technology firms, automotive suppliers, or healthcare companies before stepping into enterprise-level responsibility.
How much do enterprise account executives make in Michigan?
Enterprise account executives in Michigan earn a median of about $73,380 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $38,970 for the lowest 10% to over $135,720 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire enterprise account executives in Michigan?
Employers hiring enterprise account executives in Michigan right now include Finout, Comcast, and Saviynt, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Michigan's concentration of automotive, healthcare IT, and manufacturing technology firms means enterprise sales roles here often involve complex, high-value accounts with long sales cycles.
Which Michigan cities have the most enterprise account executive jobs?
Michigan, Detroit, and Northville have the most enterprise account executive openings in Michigan. Detroit drives the largest share of activity because of its density of corporate headquarters, automotive technology companies, and regional offices of national software and services firms, while Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor contribute openings tied to their growing tech and life sciences employer bases.
