Palmer Johnson is hiring an experienced Equipment Service Technician for our Sun Prairie RECON shop. In this role, you'll work on a variety of heavy-duty equipment used in construction, material handling, agriculture, and industrial equipment. You will also receive a $1,500 sign-on bonus!

What You'll Do
- Diagnose, disassemble, inspect, and rebuild heavy-duty equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Complete repairs to OEM specifications
- Document findings and repair recommendations
- Work with teammates, customers, and manufacturers to solve technical issues
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of diesel, heavy equipment, or drivetrain repair experience
- Technical training in diesel or automotive is a plus, but not required
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and failure analysis skills
- Ability to read service manuals, schematics, and assembly drawings
- Valid driver's license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day
- Self-motivated with attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
