We are looking for an Estimator based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. This position will report to the Preconstruction Manager.
Responsibilities
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the estimating process for geotechnical and foundation projects across the region. You will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for typical projects and will support senior estimators on large scale and complex projects. It will also be the responsibility of the Estimator to follow up with the client and ensure the fulfillment of the proposal.
Additional tasks include:
- Reviewing plans and specifications
- Performing quantity take-offs
- Evaluate & review geotechnical information
- Compiling relevant documents and data
- Using HCSS for cost estimating (training will be provided if not proficient)
- Preparing internal bid review documents
- Preparing bid proposals
- Participating in client meetings as needed
- Collaborating with internal operations, engineering and project management to ensure bids develop into successful projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates will have a BS Degree in Construction Management or Geotechnical Engineering. Must be well organized, self motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal & customer relations skills. Excellent computer skills and written & verbal communication skills necessary.

COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
