Overview:
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support to Senior Vice Presidents (SVPs) and leadership teams. Partners closely with executives to manage day-to-day activities, ensuring efficient operations, timely communication, and effective coordination of business priorities. Handles moderately complex and confidential matters with sound judgment and professionalism, while supporting the preparation of executive materials, meetings, and workflows. Serves as a key point of coordination for internal stakeholders and contributes to the smooth execution of departmental priorities. This role is on-site full time (5 days a week).
Responsibilities:
- Manages executive communications across email, Microsoft Teams, and other platforms; prioritizes messages, drafts responses, and escalates items as appropriate while maintaining confidentiality.
- Prepares correspondence and materials including presentations, reports, agendas, and meeting documents; ensures accuracy, consistency, and professional quality.
- Supports daily executive operations by anticipating routine needs, organizing information, and relieving administrative burden to allow focus on key priorities.
- Coordinates calendars and logistics, including scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and managing logistics to optimize time and efficiency.
- Processes expense reports and tracks budgets to ensure compliance with company policies and timely reconciliation.
- Coordinates meetings and events, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing logistics for team meetings, leadership sessions, and department events.
- Maintains organized records and files, ensuring documents are accurate, accessible, and handled in accordance with confidentiality and compliance requirements.
- Captures meeting notes and action items for leadership meetings and ensures appropriate follow-up and tracking.
- Serves as a point of contact for inquiries and visitors, providing professional and courteous interaction and directing matters appropriately.
- Supports departmental initiatives and projects by coordinating activities, compiling data, and assisting with execution of business priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge and Requirements:
- Working knowledge of executive administrative practices, including calendar management, communications, meeting coordination, and travel logistics.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sound judgment in prioritizing work and resolving routine issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in administrative or executive support for senior leaders in a corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating calendars, meetings, travel, and executive materials with attention to detail and timeliness.
- Experience handling confidential information and supporting meetings or events.

The actual base salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint. Additional considerations include relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs.
PAY RANGE:
USD $80,000.00 - USD $103,000.00 /Yr.
