Finance Systems Manager Jobs in Arkansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a finance systems manager in Arkansas?
Most finance systems managers in Arkansas start with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or information systems, then build several years of hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle. Arkansas does not require a state-issued license for this role, but employers in the state consistently favor candidates who hold a CPA or CMA credential, which signals credibility across both finance and systems competencies. Large Arkansas employers typically promote from within their accounting or IT analyst ranks.
Which companies hire finance systems managers in Arkansas?
Arkansas finance systems manager roles are posted by Walmart, Sam's Club, and Ryder System and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Arkansas's concentration of major corporate headquarters and large regional health systems means demand tends to be consistent rather than seasonal.
Which Arkansas cities have the most finance systems manager jobs?
Bentonville, Little Rock, and Rogers account for the most finance systems manager openings in Arkansas. Little Rock draws demand from state government agencies, regional banks, and healthcare networks, while Bentonville and Fayetteville are driven by Walmart's global supply chain and vendor ecosystem, which generates a steady need for professionals who can manage large-scale financial systems across complex multi-entity structures.
Are there remote finance systems manager jobs in Arkansas?
Yes, and more than many comparable finance roles, since the work is largely systems-based and analytical rather than on-site. About 45% of finance systems manager openings tied to Arkansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves configuring and monitoring enterprise platforms that can be accessed remotely. Systems administration and reporting tasks are the parts most commonly handled off-site.
How can I get hired as a finance systems manager in Arkansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a financial analyst or systems analyst role at one of Arkansas's large employers, such as Walmart, a major Little Rock health system, or a regional bank, then building direct ERP exposure from within. Many of these organizations run rotational programs or structured onboarding tracks for new graduates that move associates through finance operations and systems teams. Earning an entry-level SAP or Oracle certification while in an analyst role strengthens a move into a systems manager title.
Where can I find and apply to finance systems manager jobs in Arkansas?
You can find and apply to finance systems manager jobs in Arkansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers actively hiring in the state. Search the listings, find the roles that match your background and the type of systems environment you want to work in, and apply directly to the ones that fit.
