FP&A Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a fp&a manager in Georgia?
Most fp&a managers in Georgia reach the role through a finance or accounting degree followed by several years in analyst or senior analyst positions within corporate finance, accounting, or business analysis. Georgia does not require a state-issued license to work as an fp&a manager, but earning a CPA through the Georgia State Board of Accountancy or a CFA designation substantially strengthens candidacy at the state's largest employers, particularly in Atlanta's financial services and healthcare sectors.
How much do FP&A managers make in Georgia?
FP&A managers in Georgia earn a median of about $99,600 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,010 for the lowest 10% to over $172,850 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire fp&a managers in Georgia?
Georgia fp&a manager roles are posted by TK Elevator, Riveron, and Cesna Recruitment and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major regional operations across industries from logistics to consumer goods means fp&a openings appear across a wide range of employer sizes and sectors.
Which Georgia cities have the most fp&a manager jobs?
Atlanta, Midland, and Savannah account for the largest share of fp&a manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the majority of demand as home to corporate headquarters in consumer goods, healthcare, and technology, while Alpharetta's dense corridor of fintech and software companies adds consistent openings, and Savannah's growing port and logistics economy has expanded finance team hiring in recent years.
Are there remote fp&a manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 47% of fp&a manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the analytical and desk-based nature of the work. Long-range planning, financial modeling, and reporting functions tend to be the most remote-compatible, while business partnering roles that require close collaboration with operational leaders are more likely to call for on-site or hybrid arrangements.
How can I get hired as a fp&a manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is moving into an fp&a manager role from a senior financial analyst or accounting position at a Georgia employer rather than applying directly from entry level. Large Atlanta-area employers such as Delta Air Lines, Coca-Cola, and major hospital systems including Emory Healthcare run structured rotational finance programs and post associate fp&a analyst roles that build directly toward management. Earning a CPA through the Georgia State Board of Accountancy or completing an MBA at a Georgia university also accelerates the transition from analyst to manager.
Where can I find and apply to fp&a manager jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to fp&a manager jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and target industry, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
