Primary Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide efficient check-in and check-out services
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments accurately
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism , confidence and urgency
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and courteous manner
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and policies
- Process payments and maintain accurate records using hotel management systems
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
- Resolve guest issues proactively to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Complete daily checklist tasks
- Audit guest accounts to ensure that room rates and market codes are correct and congruent
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or hotel experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor
- Ability to stay organized and handle a steady flow of tasks
- Basic computer skills; hotel system experience is a plus
- Availability for flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
