Berardi Brothers Pizzeria has been making pizza in Bucks County since 1975. We're an independently owned restaurant group with five locations across Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and we're hiring a General Manager to lead our Southampton location.
This is not a shift supervisor position with a better title. You will have real responsibility for the store's operating performance, including labor, food cost, staffing, and day-to-day execution.
What You Will Own
● Food cost and labor cost against established targets
● Scheduling and labor management
● Hiring, training, coaching, and holding the team accountable
● Inventory and ordering
● Food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and service standards
● Cash controls and opening/closing procedures
● Weekly operating metrics and results
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone currently managing a high-volume restaurant, or a strong second-in-command who is ready to run their own location.
If you're an Assistant General Manager at a larger operation and ready for the next step, we especially want to hear from you.
Pizza experience is helpful but not required. Experience in high-volume pizza, fast casual, QSR, or casual dining can translate well to this role.
We're looking for someone who understands restaurant economics, can develop and hold a team accountable, and is comfortable taking responsibility for results rather than simply managing shifts.
Compensation & Opportunity
60, 000 − 70,000 base salary depending on experience, plus performance bonus opportunity.
Paid time off and employee discount.
You'll work directly with ownership without layers of regional or corporate management. We're growing, and strong performance can create opportunities for additional responsibility as we expand.
Hiring Process
Qualified candidates will begin with a short phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Finalists may be invited to a paid in-store working interview so both sides can evaluate the fit before making a decision.
This is a full-time, in-person position in Southampton, PA.

General Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a general manager in Pennsylvania?
Most general manager roles in Pennsylvania require a bachelor's degree in business, management, or a field related to the target industry, combined with progressive supervisory or operational experience. Pennsylvania does not impose a state-issued license for general managers outside of specific regulated sectors such as liquor-licensed establishments, where a Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board manager permit may be required. In those cases, candidates apply through the PLCB before assuming managerial duties.
How much do general managers make in Pennsylvania?
General managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $103,130 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $49,990 for the lowest 10% to over $220,530 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire general managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring general managers in Pennsylvania right now include Domino's, Bob Evans Restaurants, and Wendy's, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's large retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality sectors generate consistent openings, with corporate headquarters and regional distribution hubs in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh metros driving much of the volume.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most general manager jobs?
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Erie have the most general manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia leads because of its dense concentration of corporate offices, retail chains, and health systems, while Pittsburgh's resurgent technology, healthcare, and hospitality sectors sustain steady hiring, and Allentown and its Lehigh Valley neighbors draw demand from distribution, manufacturing, and regional retail employers headquartered or heavily operated there.
Are there remote general manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, but they're rare. General manager roles are predominantly on-site because the work centers on leading teams, overseeing physical operations, and responding to conditions in real time. About 4% of general manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those positions tend to involve managing distributed or digital-first operations, regional oversight roles, or back-office business unit leadership rather than traditional facility management.
How can I get hired as a general manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into an assistant manager or shift supervisor role and building toward promotion from within. Large Pennsylvania employers such as Giant Food Stores, Wawa, and major hospitality groups regularly hire assistant managers and team leads with no prior management experience, using internal development programs to build general manager candidates. Earning a business degree from a Pennsylvania university or a community college, or completing a management certificate, strengthens your candidacy early on.
Where can I find and apply to general manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to general manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Find roles that fit your experience and location and apply directly to the employer through the listing.
