DEPARTMENT: Construction
SCHEDULE: Days | Full-time | 40 hours per week
What You Will Do:
- Plan, track, and evaluate capital construction projects from design to completion, directly managing budgets, bids, schedules, and financial reporting (including earned value and burn rates).
- Establish and implement standardized national policies and procedures for construction project management to ensure operational consistency.
- Define project roles, estimate resources, and collaborate with hospital staff, contractors, architects, and engineers to align timelines and expectations.
- Enforce strict healthcare facility safety measures across all renovation and construction projects, overseeing work quality and warranty responses.
- Monitor and communicate key metrics—including risks, milestones, slippage, and project percent complete—to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s): Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s):
- Licensed Construction Professional.
- Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC).
- Project Mgmt Professional.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) accepted.
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences:
- Healthcare and construction experience is strongly preferred.
