About The Role
The Senior Mid-Market Implementation Manager owns the onboarding and go-live of Canary's most complex, higher-value hotel and hotel-group clients. This is a portfolio position: you will run multiple mid-market deployments in parallel, each with several stakeholders, custom configurations, and integrations to property systems (PMS, payment, and other third-party platforms). You will set mutual success criteria up front, coordinate cross-functional and vendor teams, and keep timelines moving through complexity, escalations, and change while identifying and driving expansion of the Canary relationship. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role for an experienced implementation professional who can operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and act as a trusted advisor to senior hotel operators.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end onboarding for a portfolio of mid-market and multi-property clients — from kickoff through go-live and initial adoption — running several deployments in parallel without letting timelines slip
- Scope, configure, and deploy Canary's full product suite to each property's operational setup, including complex, non-standard configurations across hotel groups and portfolios
- Lead integrations to customer systems (PMS, payment, and other third-party platforms): scope technical requirements, coordinate internal technical teams and outside vendors, and keep the project moving when integrations are delayed or complex
- Establish mutual success criteria and a joint deployment plan with the customer up front, then drive product adoption to ensure those goals are measurably met
- Manage senior and multi-stakeholder relationships: navigate pushback, reset expectations, resolve escalations, and maintain trust and momentum toward go-live
- Identify and drive expansion opportunities during onboarding, partnering with Sales and Customer Success to grow the relationship beyond the initial deployment
- Coordinate cross-functionally (Product, Support, Engineering, Sales, CS) to unblock issues and deliver a seamless customer experience in a resource-constrained environment
- Track milestones, risks, and portfolio health in internal systems; forecast go-live timing and flag at-risk deployments early
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure a clean handoff into long-term account management
- Contribute to and improve mid-market onboarding playbooks, best practices, and tooling; help mentor and raise the bar for the broader Implementation team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
- 2-3 years of proven experience in account management or customer success, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment
- Excellent communication abilities and presentation skills, capable of building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Proven track record managing a portfolio of concurrent implementations and delivering to go-live on time
- Charisma + consultative mindset: sets success criteria up front, drives adoption, and spots expansion opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Collaborative nature, adept at working with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations
- Proficiency with technology and adaptability to dynamic environments
- Hands-on experience scoping and managing third-party systems and coordinating technical teams and external vendors
- Highly organized and rigorous about time management and prioritization across competing deadlines
- Hospitality and/or travel tech experience a plus
Compensation
- Target cash compensation ranges from $104,000 - $127,000, including a fixed annual salary and a performance-based bonus paid quarterly.
- This role also includes a stock option grant, subject to board approval.
- Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's skill level, experience, and specific work location.

Implementation Manager Jobs in New York: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a implementation manager in New York?
Most implementation managers in New York enter the role through a combination of a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a technical field and several years in project coordination, business analysis, or a client services role. New York employers across finance and healthcare technology strongly favor candidates who hold a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute or a Scaled Agile certification. Building experience inside large New York industries like financial services or hospital systems, where implementations are complex and high-stakes, accelerates career progression into the manager title.
How much do implementation managers make in New York?
Implementation managers in New York earn a median of about $121,040 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $74,580 for the lowest 10% to over $192,160 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire implementation managers in New York?
Employers hiring implementation managers in New York right now include Rippling, Flip, and Airwallex, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. New York's concentration of major financial institutions, large hospital systems, and global technology consulting firms means demand for implementation managers is consistent year-round across multiple industries.
Which New York cities have the most implementation manager jobs?
New York, Albany, and Brooklyn are the New York locations with the most implementation manager openings. New York City dominates because of its dense cluster of financial services firms, health systems, and enterprise technology companies, while secondary markets like Buffalo and White Plains support regional operations and healthcare campuses that run their own large-scale technology deployments.
Are there remote implementation manager jobs in New York?
Yes, and more than many comparable roles, because implementation managers often coordinate through calls, documentation, and project management platforms rather than exclusively on-site. About 57% of implementation manager openings tied to New York are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the coordination work can happen off-site. The phases most commonly done remotely are planning, stakeholder alignment, and post-go-live support, while initial discovery and go-live cutover days tend to require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a implementation manager in New York with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a business analyst, project coordinator, or client success associate role at a New York employer that runs its own implementations. Large New York health systems such as NewYork-Presbyterian and NYC Health and Hospitals regularly bring in junior implementation coordinators to support EHR rollouts. Technology consulting firms based in the city also hire associate-level implementation analysts who shadow senior managers on active deployments. Earning a CAPM credential from the Project Management Institute while in an adjacent role signals readiness and opens doors to the manager track faster than waiting for the title.
Where can I find and apply to implementation manager jobs in New York?
You can find and apply to implementation manager jobs in New York on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across the state. Search the available roles, find one that fits your background and target industry, and apply directly.
