Pinot’s Palette Bricktown is looking for talented artists to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to combine your artistic talent with customer service, entertainment, and bartending in a creative, upbeat environment.
Our instructors lead guests through step-by-step acrylic painting classes while creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Every artist on our team also serves as the class bartender, making this a dynamic role that combines teaching, hospitality, and creativity.
Please note: This position is for an artist/instructor first. We are seeking skilled painters who are excited to teach and entertain guests. Bartending is an important part of the role, but applicants should be skilled painters who have a genuine passion for art and working with people.
What You’ll Do
- Teach step-by-step acrylic painting classes for groups of up to 46 guests.
- Recreate Pinot’s Palette paintings accurately while bringing your own enthusiasm, energy, and teaching style to each class.
- Encourage guests and help them feel successful and comfortable regardless of experience.
- Assist guests in correcting or improving their paintings when requested.
- Create a high-energy, positive, and welcoming class environment.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Bartend before and during classes by serving beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Process beverage and retail sales using our point-of-sale system.
- Assist with studio setup, cleanup, and other class responsibilities.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- A skilled painter with strong acrylic painting abilities.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading a class.
- Outgoing, energetic, and confident.
- Friendly and customer-focused.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing and walking around for 4-5 hours and lifting light to moderate supplies.
- At least 21 years old and eligible to obtain an Oklahoma liquor license.
Schedule
This is a part-time position.
Most shifts take place during weekday evenings and throughout the day and evening on weekends, so availability during those times is required. While we cannot guarantee a specific number of shifts each week, we’re looking for team members interested in growing with us long-term.
Training consists of approximately six training shifts over 3-4 weeks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or coursework in Art, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience teaching, presenting, performing, or leading groups.
- Customer service or hospitality experience (required).
Pay
Team members are trained in multiple roles, and pay is based on the role(s) worked each shift.
- Art Instructor: $15/hour
- Assistant Artist: $15/hour
- Bartender: $8/hour + tips
- Bartender+Assistant Artist: $15/hour + tips
