INTRODUCTION
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT LEAD EX
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Responsible for timely and accurate execution of multiple daily operational functions of varying degrees of complexity, which may include data entry & analysis, reporting, document management, client support, and/or clerical and administrative functions. May support a team of colleagues to ensure timely and accurate execution of daily operational processes of varying degrees of complexity.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Follows procedures to maintain compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
- Leverages process knowledge and expertise to assist team members with questions, process discrepancies, and system issues, escalating to senior staff as needed.
- Understands bank regulations and risk management principles and applies in daily activities & decision making, including identification of potential risks in operational processes and proposing measures to mitigate them.
- Proactively identifies process improvement opportunities; assists in the implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Contributes to development and implementation of changes and new procedures.
- Actively seeks opportunities to strengthen expertise in bank operations, regulations, and risk management principles.
- Demonstrates keen attention to detail by identifying issues, investigating root causes, and implementing solutions.
- Follows established guidelines, making decisions on issues with some complexity, seeking assistance or approval when needed.
- Operational Processing, which may include data entry, reporting transaction processing, document management, client support, and/or clerical and administrative functions. May assist junior level colleagues with coaching and direction.
- Hosting and/or attending trainings, team meetings, and individual manager meetings for feedback, coaching, and development. May also host training sessions / meetings based on expertise.
- Supporting special projects as assigned.
- May ensure team meets daily productivity and quality goals.
- May assist in workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Identifies and assists in resolving issues and discrepancies, escalating to senior staff as needed.
- Identifies and communicates potential risks in operational process to senior staff.
- Actively seeks opportunities to enhance knowledge of bank operations, regulations, and risk management principles.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in bank operations, process improvement, or a similar role.
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of operational processes, systems, policies & procedures.
- Proficiency in operations tools and systems.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of risk management principles and banking regulations.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership & communication skills.
COMPENSATION
Starting base salary: $65,296 - $104,304 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
