Day One Mental Health Services is a growing outpatient behavioral health agency dedicated to providing compassionate, person-centered, and recovery-oriented mental health services. As a trusted provider partnering with Dane County's Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program, we help individuals achieve their mental health and wellness goals through collaborative, community-based care.
We are seeking a fully licensed Mental Health Professional who is passionate about improving the lives of individuals experiencing mental health challenges and values working within a supportive, collaborative team.
What You'll Do
As a Licensed Mental Health Professional, you will provide high-quality behavioral health services to adults, adolescents, and/or children enrolled in outpatient and CCS programming. Responsibilities include:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
- Develop individualized, recovery-focused treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy.
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Coordinate care with CCS Service Facilitators, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other community partners.
- Complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency, CCS, Medicaid, and state requirements.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards while protecting client confidentiality.
- Participate in clinical consultation, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field.
- Current unrestricted Wisconsin licensure as one of the following:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Psychologist
- Ability to independently diagnose and provide psychotherapy within your scope of practice.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred
- Experience working within Wisconsin's Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program or other Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and recovery-oriented treatment.
- Experience providing services to individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, or complex behavioral health needs.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
