We are seeking an onsite National Service Sales Account Manager at our Customer Solutions Center in Mankato, MN.
The National Sales Account Manager will cultivate new and existing relationships to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. The Account Manager will generate qualified leads and develop a deep understanding of customer needs to ultimately establish productive and professional relationships with key clients. This position will manage existing accounts and drive growth in service revenue and profitability within the assigned accounts. The primary focus of this role is to generate negotiated account revenue and to position the Company as an industry leader using a consultative sales approach.
Job Functions:
- Build strategic business partnerships with key decision makers at prospective client organizations regarding the company’s products and services.
- Develop strong rapport and maintain long-term client relationships throughout extended sales cycles.
- Schedule sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and achieve strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
- Achieve quarterly/annual sales goal by consistently meeting monthly sales quotas.
- Participate in sales meetings and teleconferences as required.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities while cultivating relationships with prospective clients to increase service revenue and market share.
- Prospect through cold calling, emailing, networking, and leveraging referrals.
- Deliver impactful sales presentations and serve as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying needs and proposing effective solutions.
- Recommend the most suitable solutions to clients based on their requirements
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and client reports as needed.
- Submit all contracts and documentation in a timely manner.
- Follow-up with clients on all estimates and proposals
- Track and report all sales activities, client interactions, and proposal outcomes (submitted/won/lost).
- Conduct periodic follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
- Collaborate with the CSC Director to develop sales strategies and assist in closing deals when required.
- Continuously deepen knowledge of the roofing industry and stay informed about market trends.
- Address and resolve customer concerns by providing effective and mutually agreeable solutions.
- Perform other related tasks as may be assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous sales experience
- Demonstrated success in sales, a strong record of achievement and a proven ability to achieve results.
- Ability to apply negotiation skills to a variety of sales situations.
- Ability to manage/qualify leads and close business through direct contact or over the phone.
- Knowledge of or experience in roofing, construction or a related field
- Excellent track record in developing relationships with a high degree of integrity and trust.
- Solid verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of sales tracking systems, such as CRM
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle.
This position starts at $65,000 annually, with potential for a higher starting salary based on previous experience.
