Description
We are hiring for a Stationary Engineer position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!
Candidates with mechanical, boiler, electrical, and plumbing experience in a previous healthcare facility are encouraged to apply.
Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Variable shift, and this position must be able to work primarily Nights and Weekends; 40 hours per week.
The team runs 3 shifts: Days 7am-3:30pm, Evenings 3pm-11:30pm, Nights 11pm-7:30am. Per the union contract, Evening, Night, and Weekend shifts have premium pay differentials.
The Stationary Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, inspection and performance of maintenance and repair of the physical plant equipment and systems.

Required Qualifications:
Within 1 year of hire: Boiler Operator Grade I License - State County City Trade License Authority or
Within 1 year of hire: Boiler Operator Grade II License - State County City Trade License Authority.
4 years Mechanical experience, including boiler operation.
