About Us
Newora Coffee is a neighborhood café serving signature lattes, fresh pastries and a growing brunch menu. We're looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to keep our shifts running smoothly and our team at its best.
What You'll Do
- Run daily opening, mid-shift and closing operations using our shift checklists
- Lead, train and schedule baristas; step in on the bar and food station when needed
- Keep drink recipes, food prep and presentation consistent and up to standard
- Handle cash counts, inventory, restocking and supply orders
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety and equipment; report and follow up on repairs
- Resolve customer concerns and report daily updates to the owner
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a specialty coffee shop or café, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or shift-lead role
- Strong espresso bar skills: dialing in grinders, drink builds and quality control
- Experience training staff and running opening/closing procedures
- Comfortable with food prep, inventory and cash handling
- Organized, dependable and calm during rushes
- Available for mornings, weekends and some closing shifts
- Food handler certification (or willing to get it)
