What You'll Do
The technician will be assigned full time (40 hours weekly) to support Development Operations with hands-on activities including housekeeping; signage reviews and updates; container loading and handling; waste packaging and handling; chemical and reagent handling and packaging; clean-up of water from spills, roof leaks, utility leaks, etc.; non-routine laboratory clean-ups potentially involving radiological materials, beryllium, mercury, or other contaminants; performing inventory and confirmation activities for chemicals and materials to meet facility commitments for maximum anticipated quantities; performing quarterly Hazardous Material Identification System chemical inventories; and other activities as determined by Development Operations. Use of computer applications/systems to record and manipulate data, access technical and information resources, and create correspondence as necessary.
