Candidates must have a CPA and extensive expertise in public accounting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic firm with a solid reputation and a promising future, taking over an established $2 million+ book of business from a retiring partner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of progressive public accounting experience, with a strong focus on high-net-worth individual, trust, and estate taxation
- Proven track record managing, growing, and retaining a substantial client book
- Strong technical knowledge of complex individual, trust, and fiduciary tax matters
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and mentorship
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to take over and retain an existing high-net-worth client base
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume ownership of an existing $2 million+ book of business as a retiring partner transitions out
- Review and oversee complex tax returns and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates
- Serve as primary relationship owner for an established client base, strengthening and expanding those relationships
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services tailored to high-net-worth clients
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff, overseeing workflow and quality control
- Collaborate with firm partners on client service strategy and practice growth
