Pharmacist Clinical Specialist - Hematology & Oncology
Location: UCHealth Cancer Centers, Memorial Hospital Central, Colorado Springs, CO
Department: Cancer Service Line Admin
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday - Friday
Shift: Days
Pay: $62.19 - $87.07 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- State licensure as a Pharmacist and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
- 5 years specialty experience OR PGY1 or clinical fellowship completion with 3 years' pertinent work experience OR Pertinent PGY2 completion.

PHARMACY SPECIALIST:
This position reports to System Clinical Manager, Oncology & Infusion Pharmacy Services and is responsible for the development and implementation of ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services and initiatives that optimize the patient care experience and drive organizational performance in the Southern Colorado Region at the Memorial Cancer Care and Hematology clinic. In this practice setting, the pharmacist will establish a robust clinical pharmacy practice focusing on patient-centered care and supporting medication management, therapy optimization, and certain operational aspects of pharmacy care delivery in pertinent areas such as intravenous and oral anti-cancer therapies across oncology diagnoses, to include patient education, adherence, and adverse effect management. This position will also be involved in pharmacy student and resident (PGY1) training and will support other healthcare professional education initiatives.
