Patient Services Manager Jobs in Colorado: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a patient services manager in Colorado?
Most Colorado employers require a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a clinical field as the foundation for this role. Patient services manager is not a state-licensed position in Colorado, so there is no single required credential, but earning a Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional or a Certified Patient Experience Professional designation strengthens your candidacy. Employers look for progressively responsible experience in patient access, care coordination, or healthcare operations before hiring at the manager level.
Which companies hire patient services managers in Colorado?
Companies currently hiring patient services managers in Colorado include Banner Health, University of Colorado, and Denver Health, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Colorado's large integrated health systems and multi-site specialty groups drive consistent demand for this role year-round.
Which Colorado cities have the most patient services manager jobs?
Aurora, Greeley, and Denver have the most patient services manager openings in Colorado. Denver's dense concentration of hospital campuses and health system headquarters accounts for the largest share, while Colorado Springs and Aurora generate steady demand through regional medical centers and the large UCHealth and Centura Health footprints that anchor both markets.
Are there remote patient services manager jobs in Colorado?
Yes, but they are less common than in purely desk-based fields because patient services managers frequently work directly with clinical staff, patients, and on-site operations teams. About 0% of patient services manager openings tied to Colorado are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, with remote options most often available for roles focused on revenue cycle oversight, patient communication, or administrative project management rather than day-to-day floor supervision.
How can I get hired as a patient services manager in Colorado with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is securing a patient access representative or medical office coordinator role at a Colorado health system, then advancing internally. UCHealth, Intermountain Health, and Children's Hospital Colorado all run structured development programs that move high-performing frontline staff into supervisory tracks. Building experience in scheduling, insurance verification, or patient intake gives you the operational foundation most Colorado hiring managers look for, and pursuing a Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional credential while in an entry role signals readiness for the step up.
Where can I find and apply to patient services manager jobs in Colorado?
You can find and apply to patient services manager jobs in Colorado on Migrate Mate, which lists current Colorado openings from employers actively hiring in the state. Search the listings, find roles that fit your background and preferred location, and apply directly to the ones that match.
