This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as a Product Design Engineer (AVP) within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. We’re driving the company’s digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies. What You Will Do:
In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities:
- Translate Figma designs into responsive, interactive UI components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build and maintain scalable front-end applications using React (and optionally Angular or Vue.js).
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Prioritize accessibility and usability by adhering to WCAG/EAA guidelines.
- Contribute to the State Street Design System and component library.
- Participate in testing, debugging, and iterative improvements of UI features.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and design trends.
- Familiarity with TypeScript and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite)
- Ability to optimize performance for data-heavy applications.
- Strong communication skills and ownership mindset in cross-functional teams.
- Bonus: Exposure to financial services interfaces and workflows.

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $167,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
