Position Description:

• The Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.
• Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.
• Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.
• Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership.
• Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

Skills Required:

• Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations.
• Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers.
• Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset.
• Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies.
• Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively.
• Values different opinions and is open to ideas and perspectives from others.

High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience.
