We’re seeking experienced and licensed Special Inspectors (P.E.) to join our growing team for immediate openings across the five boroughs. QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- Minimum 3+ years of experience performing inspections in NYC (varied in size and complexity)
- Strong understanding of Chapter 17 of the NYC Building Code and related inspection requirements
Certificates, Licenses & Training
- Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in New York or New Jersey (Civil or Structural)
- 5+ years of direct construction inspection experience in NYC or NJ
- Familiarity with NYC and International Building Codes
- Hands-on experience inspecting Pile Installations and Geotechnical Conditions per Chapter 17 requirements

- Work-zone safety
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Certification (minimum requirement)
Additional Skills & Attributes

- Proven ability to deliver accurate, detailed inspection reports in a timely manner
- Strong sense of accountability and professionalism
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
