Your Responsibilities as a Senior Marketing Proposal Coordinator:
- Work independently in the Apex office in Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT, in close collaboration with our nationwide Marketing & Proposals team, in pursuit of new work, with an emphasis on projects in Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming.
- Assist with the retrieval and tracking of requests for proposals/qualifications and help with go/no-go discussions
- Lead proposal outline preparation and drive proposal kick-off discussions
- Develop compelling firm qualifications, proposals, and presentation materials in support of Apex's business initiatives. Includes layout, writing, and coordination.
- Assist with the writing, cataloging, and updating of project materials, such as profiles, team resumes, and client references.
- Produce proposals in person, as needed, from Boise or Salt Lake City.
- Travel to client locations to deliver proposals, as needed.
- Support special events and trade shows, on occasion.
- Perform tasks to ensure the quality of Marketing materials, such as proofreading, aesthetics, and compliance reviews.
- Update the client relationship management (CRM) system and related databases.
- Fulfill other Marketing tasks as needed.
What we're looking for:
- Degree, certification, or equivalent experience in communications, marketing, business, English, journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a marketer in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry or other professional services fields.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent writing and copyediting capabilities
- Strong communications skills and the ability to adapt to different communication styles
- Highly motivated, willing to be part of our Apex team and enhance our marketing efforts
- Ability to work in person in the Apex office in Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT, and travel for related Marketing tasks, such as proposal delivery, on occasion.
- Valid driver's license, safe driving history and reliable transportation.
