This job location is not currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type
What You Will Do:
This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
- Join an established team of psychologists
- Call structure: None
- Practice setting: Outpatient
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychology
- Eligible for state medical Indiana licensure
- Pre-employment psychological evaluations
- Fitness for duty psychological evaluations
- Follow up fitness for duty psychological evaluations
- Return from Military Duty psychological evaluations
- Special Unit psychological evaluations
- Fitness for duty evaluations following police action shooting
- Cognitive testing (some psychologists - not all)
- Case management for open fitness for duty evaluations
- Must be familiar with the MMPI-3, preferred that they be familiar with the BDI-2, BAI, PCL-5, and PAI

- Ascension Public Safety Medical (affiliated with Ascension St. Vincent) serves first responders, firefighters, EMS personnel, and law enforcement officers. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, it is the largest specialized practice of its kind in the country, currently serving over 300 unique public safety agencies

What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Psychologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Psychotherapist preferred.
Education:
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
