Seifert Graphics specializes in the design, production, and installation of graphics for public transit vehicles throughout the United States. Our Plattsburgh facility works with major transit vehicle manufacturers on projects for transit agencies across the country.
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to inspect graphic installations on transit vehicles and ensure completed work meets our quality standards and customer requirements.
The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of vehicles before, during, and after graphic installation.
- Inspect completed installations for proper alignment, appearance, adhesion, and overall workmanship.
- Identify and document installation defects or deficiencies requiring correction.
- Communicate inspection findings to installation personnel and management.
- Reinspect corrected work to verify that quality concerns have been resolved.
- Accurately document installation issues, corrective work, and additional material usage in our ERP system.
- Complete inspection checklists and maintain accurate quality records.
- Assist with customer inspections and document customer-identified concerns.
- Help identify recurring quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify visual imperfections.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, automotive, vehicle graphics, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
