Regional Manager Jobs in Kentucky: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional manager in Kentucky?
Most regional managers in Kentucky move into the role after several years in site-level or district management, typically with a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a field relevant to their industry. Kentucky does not require a state-issued license for the general regional manager title, but candidates in regulated sectors such as healthcare or financial services may need to hold an active Kentucky professional credential before managing licensed staff.
How much do regional managers make in Kentucky?
Regional managers in Kentucky earn a median of about $79,370 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $40,500 for the lowest 10% to over $176,820 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional managers in Kentucky?
Kentucky regional manager roles are posted by Brookside Properties, CBT, and Amrize and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Kentucky's concentration of logistics, retail, and healthcare employers means regional roles often cover multi-state territories anchored out of Louisville or Lexington.
Which Kentucky cities have the most regional manager jobs?
Louisville, Lexington, and Kentucky have the most regional manager openings in Kentucky right now. Louisville drives the largest share of demand because it is home to major corporate headquarters and distribution operations, while Lexington adds volume from healthcare systems and professional services, and Northern Kentucky benefits from its proximity to Cincinnati's cross-border employer base.
Are there remote regional manager jobs in Kentucky?
Yes, but they're rare. Regional manager work is inherently field-oriented and typically requires regular travel to sites, stores, or facilities across a territory. About 50% of regional manager openings tied to Kentucky are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and when flexibility exists it tends to apply to administrative and reporting duties rather than the core oversight responsibilities.
How can I get hired as a regional manager in Kentucky with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving up from an assistant or general manager role within the same company rather than applying to regional positions externally. Large Kentucky employers in retail and logistics, including distribution center operators and regional grocery chains, promote internally and often run structured leadership development programs for high-performing store or site managers. Building experience with P&L ownership, headcount management, and multi-unit project work in those roles is the credential that opens the door.
Where can I find and apply to regional manager jobs in Kentucky?
You can find and apply to regional manager jobs in Kentucky on Migrate Mate, which lists current Kentucky openings. Search the roles available, find the ones that fit your background and location, and apply directly through the listings.
