Regional Manager Jobs in Pennsylvania: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a regional manager in Pennsylvania?
Most regional managers in Pennsylvania progress from store, branch, or operations manager roles after building several years of single-unit leadership experience. There is no state-issued license required for the role itself, but employers in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services may expect relevant certifications alongside a bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field. Demonstrating a record of team development and multi-site coordination is typically what moves candidates into consideration.
How much do regional managers make in Pennsylvania?
Regional managers in Pennsylvania earn a median of about $103,130 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $49,990 for the lowest 10% to over $220,530 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire regional managers in Pennsylvania?
Employers hiring regional managers in Pennsylvania right now include Walmart, Allegheny Health Network, and CSL, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Pennsylvania's concentration of large healthcare networks, regional retail chains, and logistics operators means openings appear across a wide range of industries and company sizes throughout the state.
Which Pennsylvania cities have the most regional manager jobs?
Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Pennsylvania have the most regional manager openings in Pennsylvania. Philadelphia drives the largest share given its density of corporate headquarters, retail corridors, and healthcare systems, while Pittsburgh's strength in healthcare and financial services sustains steady demand, and the Lehigh Valley's distribution and logistics sector supports consistent openings in Allentown and surrounding areas.
Are there remote regional manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
Yes, but they're rare. Regional manager work is fundamentally tied to visiting locations, coaching on-site teams, and assessing physical operations, which limits full remote arrangements. About 56% of regional manager openings tied to Pennsylvania are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, and those tend to cover administrative oversight, reporting, or territory planning functions rather than active multi-site field management.
How can I get hired as a regional manager in Pennsylvania with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a single-unit manager role first, then building a case for promotion by owning full P&L accountability and developing direct reports. Large Pennsylvania employers like UPMC, Giant Food Stores, and Comcast run internal leadership development programs that prepare high-performing managers for multi-site responsibility. Candidates coming from district coordinator, operations supervisor, or assistant general manager roles are well positioned, and completing a business management certification strengthens a promotion case considerably.
Where can I find and apply to regional manager jobs in Pennsylvania?
You can find and apply to regional manager jobs in Pennsylvania on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from employers hiring across the state. Find the roles that fit your experience and apply directly to the ones that match.
