Risk Compliance Analyst Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a risk compliance analyst in Florida?
Most Florida employers require a bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or a related field as the baseline qualification. Florida does not mandate a state-issued license specifically for risk compliance analysts, but certifications such as the Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager from the American Bankers Association or the Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional carry strong weight with Florida financial and healthcare employers. Candidates targeting banking roles should also familiarize themselves with Florida Office of Financial Regulation guidelines, which are referenced in many local job postings.
How much do risk compliance analysts make in Florida?
Risk compliance analysts in Florida earn a median of about $74,920 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $44,130 for the lowest 10% to over $127,420 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire risk compliance analysts in Florida?
Employers hiring risk compliance analysts in Florida right now include BNY, JPMorganChase, and First Horizon Bank, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of regional banks, insurance carriers, and large hospital systems means openings appear across both financial services and healthcare compliance functions throughout the state.
Which Florida cities have the most risk compliance analyst jobs?
Tampa, Orlando, and Lake Mary account for the largest share of risk compliance analyst openings in Florida. Miami drives volume through its dense cluster of international banks, wealth management firms, and insurance companies, while Tampa's growing financial services corridor and Jacksonville's concentration of regional banking headquarters and major insurance carriers sustain strong hiring in those metros as well.
Are there remote risk compliance analyst jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, because the core work is analytical, documentation-heavy, and does not require a physical presence in most cases. About 57% of risk compliance analyst openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well the role translates to distributed work. Regulatory review, policy drafting, and audit preparation are the functions most commonly offered on a fully remote basis by Florida employers.
How can I get hired as a risk compliance analyst in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is starting in a compliance associate or audit assistant role at a Florida regional bank, insurance company, or hospital system and building from there. Large Florida employers such as Florida Blue and Raymond James run structured associate programs that welcome candidates without direct compliance experience. Lateral moves from roles like loan processor, internal auditor, or healthcare billing specialist are common stepping stones. Earning a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional certification or completing a Florida-based compliance internship gives candidates a clear edge over others at the same experience level.
Where can I find and apply to risk compliance analyst jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to risk compliance analyst jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings updated regularly. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience and location, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
