Auvil Fruit, dba Gee Whiz II, is a vertically-integrated company that grows, packs, sells and ships top quality apples and sweet cherries across the United States and abroad. The Sales Assistant executes daily tasks and responsibilities, while being proactive in maintaining ongoing projects. This full-time position with our rapidly growing, premium-fruit company offers significant opportunities to grow and advance.

Essential Functions
· Manage online retailer-specific platforms
o Update pricing, contracts, SKU details
o Create and submit promotions
o Coordinate and distribute information to sales team
· Support marketing and sales
o Prepare sales presentations
o Help build improved communication processes within the sales team
o Attend sales meetings, keep meeting notes and assist with customer follow up
o Work with sales team as needed to fulfill sales requests
o Prepare item fact sheets, compile SKU data as requested
o Generate price manifests
o Assist with RFP preparation and submission
o Research industry topics, provide summary to sales team
· Locate and provide marketing and sales materials as requested
· Provide packing sample requests for customers and trade shows
· Provide administrative support to the sales team
o Maintain internal sales reports, communicate changes to sales team
o Help monitor customer communications
o Generate and distribute sales reports
o Update and maintain spreadsheets
· Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Work Environment
The Sales Assistant generally works in a clerical, office setting. Some work will be done in cold storage rooms. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to think, focus thoughts, talk, hear and comprehend. The employee must be able to sit for long periods. Must be able to lift files, fruit boxes, open file cabinets and stand as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried position. Employee must work on-site during regular business hours unless traveling for business. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
This position may require up to 30% travel. Most travel is within the local area and does not require overnight stays. Occasionally, travel outside the local area and overnight stays will be required. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
