Part Time Account Executive (Outside Sales) - Tampa/Clearwater, Florida
At Delta Defense, we stand for something bigger than a product. We believe the inalienable right to self-defense is fundamental to freedom. We believe in personal responsibility, training, and protecting the people we love. And we exist for the millions of responsible American gun owners — and those who may one day legally defend themselves — who take that responsibility seriously.
Delta Defense is the private company behind the marketing, operations, and customer service of the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) — an organization dedicated to safeguarding the life, freedom, and finances of responsibly armed Americans. As an Outside Sales Account Executive, you carry that mission into every parking lot, range, retailer, and training room you step into. Learn more about the USCCA at https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/ (https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/)
As a Part-Time Account Executive on our Outside Sales team, you will drive sales and build strong relationships within an assigned territory. Ideal candidates are passionate about the Second Amendment, highly self motivated, and able to independently engage with local ranges, retailers, and instructors.
The reality of this role:
This part-time position offers flexibility to suit your schedule but does not include company benefits. In this role you have the chance to make a significant impact while still enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule.
Most days, you’ll be earning attention before you earn the sale.
You'll stand up at the end of a concealed carry class. In front of a room of strangers who just spent several hours learning to carry a firearm responsibly — and who are tired, skeptical, and not sure why they should listen to you. You'll show up cold at a range on a Saturday morning. You'll walk into a retailer whose owner has seen plenty of reps before you and isn't easily impressed.
And your job is to earn the right to be heard.
That's what makes this role different. It's face-to-face, relationship-driven, and credibility-first — especially in front of firearms instructors, range owners, and everyday Americans who care deeply about self-defense and personal freedom. If you're a responsible gun owner who enjoys being at the range, talking gear and training, and helping others protect themselves, you'll have instant rapport and authenticity. If you're new to the space but eager to learn the community, be honest about that too — people here respect humility far more than a memorized pitch.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent the USCCA in rural markets through education, outreach, and relationship-building.
- Maintain and expand relationships with partner ranges, firearm instructors, and retailers.
- Deliver compelling group presentations and drive awareness of USCCA Membership benefits.
- Support CCW classes and onboarding events with accurate, compliant, and mission-aligned messaging.
- Present and sell USCCA membership benefits to individuals and groups through pitches, classes, and events.
- Collaborate with marketing and other support teams to organize, schedule, and execute sales events for maximum results.
- Travel within assigned territory to attend partner events, training, and community engagements.
- Work hours will vary based on event schedules and territory needs.
Experience/Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED.
- Proven ability to close sales and achieve performance goals.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to connect both 1:1 and in group settings.
- Ability to obtain and maintain State Property & Casualty Insurance license (company training provided).
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within assigned territory.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and a results-driven mindset.
- Proficient in or ability to learn Microsoft Suite Products, Google Suite & Salesforce.
- Demonstrates the Core Values of Delta Defense LLC.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales, instruction, or community engagement experience.
- Firearms industry familiarity and/or instructor certification.
- Experience building relationships in rural markets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with business acumen to drive sales and strategic initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to confidently engage with diverse audiences.
Territory:
Tampa/Clearwater, Florida
Compensation and Perks:
- Salary - $25.00/hour plus 12% commission
- 401K retirement plan eligible
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
- USCCA Membership
- Employee discount on USCCA store merchandise
- Company-provided computer equipment and branded apparel allowance
- Paid training
- Please note that part time role does not include the company's full benefits package, such as health insurance coverage, available to full time employees
Our commitment to you:
If you’re selected for this role, you’ll receive the tools, coaching, and support you need to succeed. To set you up for a strong start, you’ll complete a required, paid training program that runs for the first 5 weeks. Training includes on-site orientation at company headquarters, self-paced learning, and a blend of virtual and in-person instructor-led classroom training. Because the training builds week to week, you’ll need to be fully available throughout the program.

Sales Executive Jobs in Tampa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a sales executive job in Tampa?
Focus your search on Tampa's Westshore business district and Downtown core, where financial services, SaaS, healthcare technology, and logistics firms concentrate their sales teams. Candidates with established B2B relationships in the Tampa Bay market or experience selling into healthcare systems and regional banks move to the front of the line. Attending Tampa Bay Chamber events and local industry meetups builds the kind of network that surfaces unadvertised openings.
Which companies hire sales executives in Tampa?
Companies currently hiring sales executives in Tampa include Paychex, World Insurance Associates, and AT&T, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Tampa's mix of regional insurance carriers, healthcare IT firms, logistics providers, and financial services companies means demand for sales executives stays consistent across a broad range of employer types.
Are there remote sales executive jobs in Tampa?
Yes, though availability depends heavily on the role. Sales executive positions that involve territory management, in-person client meetings, or local account coverage are mostly on-site or field-based by nature, while inside sales and account management roles skew more flexible. About 46% of sales executive openings tied to Tampa are remote or hybrid as of July 2026. SaaS and technology-sector roles in Tampa tend to offer the most remote flexibility.
How can I get a sales executive job in Tampa with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Tampa is through a business development representative or inside sales role, particularly at one of the SaaS, fintech, or healthcare technology companies based in Westshore or the Carillon corridor. These employers regularly hire candidates who are early in their careers and promote from within. A demonstrated ability to hit quota in any B2B context, even from an internship or part-time role, carries significant weight with Tampa hiring managers.
Which industries hire the most sales executives in Tampa?
The sectors hiring the most sales executives in Tampa are Insurance, Telecommunications, and Accounting & Auditing, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Tampa's role as a regional hub for financial services, a growing destination for healthcare technology companies, and a major logistics gateway through Port Tampa Bay all sustain steady sales executive demand across those industries.
