Sales Operations Specialist Jobs in Delaware: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a sales operations specialist in Delaware?
A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, finance, or a related field is the standard entry point for sales operations specialist roles in Delaware. No state-issued license is required. Delaware employers, particularly in Wilmington's financial services corridor and the life sciences companies concentrated around Newark and the Route 202 corridor, consistently prioritize candidates who can demonstrate hands-on CRM experience and data analysis skills alongside their degree.
Which companies hire sales operations specialists in Delaware?
Companies currently hiring sales operations specialists in Delaware include JPMorganChase, Walgreens, and Amazon, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Delaware's concentration of financial institutions, pharmaceutical firms, and corporate headquarters in Wilmington and Newark makes it a particularly active market for this role year-round.
Which Delaware cities have the most sales operations specialist jobs?
Wilmington, Newark, and New Castle are the Delaware cities with the most sales operations specialist openings. Wilmington drives the largest share of listings due to its dense cluster of bank and financial services headquarters, while Newark benefits from the University of Delaware's research partnerships and proximity to pharmaceutical employers, and Dover generates openings through state government contractors and regional business services firms.
Are there remote sales operations specialist jobs in Delaware?
Yes, and more than most fields, because sales operations work is fundamentally desk-based and data-driven. About 34% of sales operations specialist openings tied to Delaware are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how readily the core responsibilities transfer to distributed work. The functions most commonly offered remotely are CRM administration, reporting and analytics, and sales process documentation.
How can I get hired as a sales operations specialist in Delaware with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from a sales coordinator, account management associate, or marketing operations assistant role at one of Delaware's larger employers. Wilmington-area financial institutions and Newark-based life sciences companies such as Incyte and W.L. Gore regularly bring on associates through rotational business operations programs. Building proficiency in Salesforce, earning a Salesforce Administrator certification, and completing a capstone project demonstrating pipeline analysis or reporting automation gives candidates a concrete edge over other entry-level applicants.
Where can I find and apply to sales operations specialist jobs in Delaware?
You can find and apply to sales operations specialist jobs in Delaware on Migrate Mate, which lists current Delaware openings across Wilmington, Newark, Dover, and surrounding areas. Find roles that fit your experience and specialization, then apply directly to the employers posting them.
