From there, several years of hands-on property accounting work, typically in roles handling CAM reconciliations, lease administration, or real estate general ledger functions, builds the experience base employers expect before promoting or hiring at the senior level.
How much do senior property accountants make in North Dakota?
Senior property accountants in North Dakota earn a median of about $75,730 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $49,330 for the lowest 10% to over $124,960 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire senior property accountants in North Dakota?

Which North Dakota cities have the most senior property accountant jobs?
Fargo, Grand Forks, and Williston are the North Dakota cities with the most senior property accountant openings. Fargo drives the largest share of postings as the state's commercial and financial hub, home to regional property management firms and development companies, while Bismarck generates demand through state government-adjacent real estate and healthcare facility portfolios, and Grand Forks contributes through university-area housing and commercial property operations.
Are there remote senior property accountant jobs in North Dakota?
Yes, and more than many people expect. About 25% of senior property accountant openings tied to North Dakota are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting that much of the role involves financial reporting, general ledger work, and reconciliations that can be done off-site.
