Service Delivery Manager Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a service delivery manager in Wisconsin?
Most service delivery manager roles in Wisconsin require a bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or a related discipline, followed by several years in IT support, project coordination, or operations. Wisconsin does not issue a state license for this role, but employers strongly favor candidates holding an ITIL certification and, for healthcare-adjacent positions, familiarity with HIPAA compliance frameworks. Progressing from roles like IT team lead, helpdesk manager, or operations analyst is the most common path into the position.
How much do service delivery managers make in Wisconsin?
Service delivery managers in Wisconsin earn a median of about $160,140 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $99,260 for the lowest 10% to over $230,980 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire service delivery managers in Wisconsin?
Companies currently hiring service delivery managers in Wisconsin include Amazon, United Cooperative, and CARVANA, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Wisconsin's concentration of financial technology firms, large healthcare IT organizations, and national retailers operating technology centers in the state makes it a consistent market for this role.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most service delivery manager jobs?
Watertown, Antigo, and Wausau account for the largest share of service delivery manager openings in Wisconsin. Milwaukee drives the most volume as home to major financial technology and professional services employers, while Madison's concentration of healthcare IT companies anchored by Epic Systems and university-affiliated institutions sustains strong demand, and Green Bay contributes openings through its regional manufacturing and logistics operations.
Are there remote service delivery manager jobs in Wisconsin?
Yes, and more than many comparable roles, since service delivery management centers on coordination, reporting, and vendor communication that translate well to remote settings. About 0% of service delivery manager openings tied to Wisconsin are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting broader IT sector norms in the state. Fully remote arrangements are most common in pure IT service management roles, while positions involving on-site client or data center oversight typically require a local presence.
How can I get hired as a service delivery manager in Wisconsin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving laterally from an IT helpdesk supervisor, junior project coordinator, or technical support lead role into a service delivery associate or junior service delivery manager position. Large Wisconsin employers in the managed services and healthcare IT space, including firms operating in the Milwaukee and Madison corridors, regularly hire candidates from these adjacent roles. Earning an ITIL Foundation certification before applying gives candidates a concrete credential that substitutes for tenure, and building experience with ticketing platforms used by Wisconsin employers strengthens an application considerably.
Where can I find and apply to service delivery manager jobs in Wisconsin?
You can find and apply to service delivery manager jobs in Wisconsin on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wisconsin openings updated in real time. Search the listings, identify the roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly through each posting without any additional steps required.
