ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as the primary technical expert for our advanced industrial machinery, ensuring peak performance and operational reliability for our clients. Responsibilities
- Execute the installation, calibration, and commissioning of high-precision CNC automation systems to meet rigorous operational standards.
- Perform root-cause analysis on malfunctioning equipment, leveraging advanced troubleshooting skills to implement effective repairs and replacements.
- Act as a technical consultant for clients, providing on-site training on safe equipment operation and maintenance best practices.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to relay field insights, directly influencing future product design and service improvements.
- Develop comprehensive service documentation and technical bulletins to streamline maintenance processes and knowledge sharing.
- Serve as the critical communication bridge between the customer and our technical support organization to ensure high-level service delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial machine tool maintenance or field service.
- Proficiency in CNC machine installation, electrical systems, and industrial automation troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical data into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-pressure customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently to support regional client sites.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental standards.
- Experience with industrial robot programming and integration.
- Proven track record of working independently in a field-based environment.
