Description
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking experienced, high-performing, and driven Specialty Sales Representatives to join our expanding commercial organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a meaningful role in the launch and growth of our cardiometabolic portfolio, including Plozasiran (siRNA targeting APOC3), developed for patients with rare and high-need cardiovascular conditions such as Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS) and Severe Hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG).
This role is critical to delivering launch excellence by driving prescriber activation, accelerating therapy adoption, and ensuring sustained utilization within complex healthcare environments. The Specialty Sales Representative will operate with strategic agility, strong clinical acumen, and disciplined execution to positively impact patient outcomes.
About Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals:
Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWR) is a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company that develops medicines that treat intractable diseases by silencing the genes that cause them. Using a broad portfolio of RNA chemistries and efficient modes of delivery, Arrowhead therapies trigger the RNA interference mechanism to induce rapid, deep, and durable knockdown of target genes. RNA interference, or RNAi, is a mechanism present in living cells that inhibits the expression of a specific gene, thereby affecting the production of a specific protein. Arrowhead’s RNAi-based therapeutics leverage this natural pathway of gene silencing.
Arrowhead is focused on developing innovative drugs for diseases with a genetic basis, typically characterized by the overproduction of one or more proteins that are involved with disease. The depth and versatility of our RNAi technologies enables us to potentially address conditions in virtually any therapeutic area and pursue disease targets that are not otherwise addressable by small molecules and biologics. Arrowhead is leading the field in bringing the promise of RNAi to address diseases outside of the liver, and our clinical pipeline includes disease targets in the liver and lung with a promising pipeline of preclinical candidates.
Arrowhead’s corporate headquarters is in Pasadena, CA with research and development teams in Madison, WI and San Diego, CA. Our employees are nimble, science-driven innovators who are collaborating to bring new therapies to patients in need.

Specialty Sales Representative Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a specialty sales representative in Florida?
Most Florida employers require a bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, marketing, or a closely related field, with pharmaceutical and medical device roles often preferring a science background. Florida does not issue a general state license for specialty sales representatives, but pharmaceutical reps calling on licensed Florida prescribers must comply with Florida Statute 499 governing drug sample management, and medical device reps working in surgical settings often need facility-specific credentialing through programs like Vendormate or RepTrax.
How much do specialty sales representatives make in Florida?
Specialty sales representatives in Florida earn a median of about $62,490 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $36,780 for the lowest 10% to over $127,960 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire specialty sales representatives in Florida?
Employers hiring specialty sales representatives in Florida right now include UCB, Baptist Health, and Dental Care Alliance, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's concentration of hospitals, outpatient clinics, and technology firms means demand is especially consistent in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and enterprise software sectors.
Which Florida cities have the most specialty sales representative jobs?
Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Florida lead Florida for specialty sales representative openings, driven by the dense concentration of hospital networks, corporate headquarters, and technology firms in those metros. Smaller markets like Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale also generate steady openings because large regional employers and healthcare systems maintain satellite sales offices there.
Are there remote specialty sales representative jobs in Florida?
Yes, but they're rare, because specialty sales work is fundamentally relationship-driven and territory-based, requiring in-person visits to clients, clinics, or facilities. About 100% of specialty sales representative openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, and those positions tend to concentrate in inside sales, SaaS account management, and phone-based renewal roles rather than field-facing territory positions.
How can I get hired as a specialty sales representative in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is targeting associate or junior territory representative roles posted by large Florida-based employers in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, where companies like Stryker and Medtronic run structured new-graduate development programs. Candidates coming from adjacent roles such as pharmacy technician, clinical research coordinator, or retail sales manager find their backgrounds translate well. Completing a vendor credentialing program, earning a Certified National Pharmaceutical Representative designation, and building familiarity with Florida's hospital systems through informational networking all strengthen a first application significantly.
Where can I find and apply to specialty sales representative jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to specialty sales representative jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings across pharmaceutical, medical device, technology, and B2B sectors. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your background and preferred territory, and apply directly.
