Job Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for partnering with hiring managers to determine short and long-term talent needs for their teams. In addition, this role will actively recruit through heavy talent sourcing, candidate identification, and growth of business affiliations by attending various recruiting events. In this role, the ideal candidate will balance duties of the full recruiting cycle in addition to strategic initiatives related to recruitment best practices including development and management of processes, procedures, and systems, and mentoring other Talent Acquisition team members.
**This is an in-office position, Monday -Friday, day shift schedule**
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Recruiting
- Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, short and long term
- Coordinate with resources to expand candidate pools including local high schools, tech schools, military bases and aviation program-based institutions
- Manage the company DoD SkillBridge program, coordinate recruitment and internships for transitioning service members seeking consideration for full-time employment upon completion
- Seek out initiatives to increase success in recruiting new prospects
- Prepare job descriptions
- Research and participate in relevant career fairs, local job fairs and professional events to support a successful recruiting program
Recruiting
- Perform and manage all aspects of the recruitment process including pre-screening, interviews, reference checks, and offers
- Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using social media and electronic job sites
- Screen resumes and perform initial interviews to determine applicant qualifications by analyzing responses, verifying references, comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Utilize and document all recruiting efforts and steps within the Applicant Tracking System
- Administer company assessments as appropriate
- Make recommendations to company hiring managers for specific roles
- Organize interviews with hiring managers, arrange candidate travel logistics, escort applicant to interviews; arrange company tours as appropriate
- Build applicant sources through research and contact with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites
- Serve as a liaison with employment agencies and industry associations
- Emphasize benefits and perks to potential candidates
- Perform other duties and facilitate special projects as assigned by Director of HR
- Travel 20%
Qualifications & Job Requirments
- Prefer minimum three (3) years in a recruiting role
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite with excellent data entry and technical writing skills
- Exemplary verbal acuity with ability to communicate with all level applicants
- Strategic and dynamic thinker, enthusiastic attitude and quick to take initiative
- Highly motivated, goal driven, result oriented team player
- Integrity, a positive attitude, creativity, and collaboration will be key to success in this role.
- Prefer bachelor’s degree
- Additional HR Certifications a plus

- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Work is primarily performed indoors in a temperature-controlled environment. Requires sitting 6-8 hours a day and sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes which permits the employee to function in a general office environment.
