- Answer inbound calls and respond to online customer requests promptly and professionally
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including support with:
- insurance availability and eligibility
- coverage explanations and recommendations
- policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and service requests
- billing questions and service needs
- Proactively market and recommend relevant products and services based on customer needs
- Prospect for new customers through outreach, lead follow-up, referrals, and other assigned activities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Promote long-lasting customer relationships through excellent communication and reliability
- Coordinate with internal agency teams to ensure timely, organized customer support
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, activities, and results (as required)
- Sales experience preferred (outside sales, inside sales, sales representative, retail sales, telemarketing, or similar)
- Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
- Strong relationship-building skills and genuine customer empathy
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
- Dedicated to customer service and able to anticipate customer needs
- Ability to clearly connect with customers and build trust
- Experience managing client relationships is a plus
- Conducting tailored, needs-based discussions rather than simply following scripts
- Listening to understand individual circumstances and priorities
- Explaining coverage options clearly and recommending solutions that fit each customer
Compensation
This role starts with a $55,000 base salary, along with commission/bonus opportunities.
