INTRODUCTION
The goal of this position is to develop and deliver training programs that are rich in quality, and which prepare Risk Management Operations (RMO) employees for providing quality customer service to Allied’s customers. While this role is focused on the actual facilitation of training programs, this role will also maintain learning materials, including job aids and PowerPoint decks, achieved through the collaboration with the individual business areas.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Technical Training Facilitation (70%)
- Conduct technical training for the Customer Service Solutions business unit.
- Develops RMO employee knowledge, skills and abilities through quality technical training programs on RMO systems and products.
- Assists in the planning and delivery of onboarding program to ensure that employees understand policies and company culture.
- Organizes and delivers both onsite and remote training sessions for all new employees, ensuring that resources are prepared and that materials are current and appropriate for the topic.
- Provides continuous training in the areas of technical and professional skills for all RMO employees.
- Plans and conducts quarterly training sessions with a focus on topics requiring additional attention, as identified by leaders within RMO.
- Encourages employee and agent retention by providing support throughout the learning experience.
- Delivers assessments to course participants.
- Executes a plan for obtaining 4 levels of metrics.
Training Content Design and Development (30%)
- Creates tests for understanding.
- Identify program goals and objectives.
- Prepares material for training sessions; ensuring most current version of procedure manuals, handouts, and PowerPoints are being used.
- Maintains central repository of all training and operational reference materials. Ensures that these documents reflect the most current information and that updates are made timely.
- Collaborates with the leaders of each individual area of RMO to understand existing training needs.
- Ensures that a master calendar is updated, prioritized, and communicated to all stakeholders.
- Conducts and/or participates in Needs Analysis meetings to determine Key Performance Indicators and benchmarked service standards for each area of RMO.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of related work-experience required.
- Ability to communicate with others effectively through interpersonal and written communication.
- Recognizes issues that might impact learning and performance.
- Maintains professionalism during course instruction and in office settings.
- Determines best instructional method for delivering learning lesson.
- Determines what instructional resources are needed during instruction.
- Able to engage learners while facilitating learning.
- Demonstrates flexibility during a training course.
- Able to provide feedback to participants during learning event.
- Effectively manages the classroom during course delivery.
