About this role
The Technical Training Specialist III supports the development and execution of training programs within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role partners with functional leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure employees are trained, qualified, and operating in compliance with regulatory and business requirements.
The position focuses on training program administration, On-the-Job Training (OJT) facilitation, and continuous improvement of training effectiveness. As a senior team member, this individual operates with independence while supporting audits, quality events, and site performance initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Administer and maintain competency-based training programs, ensuring accurate assignment, tracking, and completion
- Facilitate OJT programs across 1:1, classroom, small group, and virtual training environments
- Partner with SMEs to develop and maintain training content aligned to regulatory and operational requirements
- Conduct training needs assessments and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Serve as a Training SME during quality events (investigations, CAPAs, root cause analysis)
- Support inspection readiness activities, audits, and regulatory compliance efforts
- Drive human performance and efficiency improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and waste reduction
Who you are
You are a detail-oriented and collaborative training professional with strong facilitation skills and the ability to operate effectively within a regulated manufacturing environment. You bring a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement, compliance, and operational excellence.
Required skills
- Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and/or directly related experience
- At minimum 2 years of experience in training and/or instructional delivery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience administering training programs, including OJT and certification processes
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training tools, preferably Veeva and Articulate
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., cGMP) and training compliance standards
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and tracking
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to support and influence process improvements
Preferred skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and quality events
- Ability to develop engaging training materials across multiple delivery formats

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $77,000.00-$100,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
