- Knowledge of the structure and function of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Maintenance systems
- Proficient Knowledge of: Mechanical, Electrical, Blueprint Reading, Electrical Schematics reading, Arc Welding, Gas Welding & Cutting
- Basic knowledge of PLC and robotics
- Strong understanding of industrial maintenance Safety & Best Practices and the ability to adhere to them
- Able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate
Main Duties:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
- Repair all plant machinery and equipment including robots, hydraulic presses and mechanical presses
- Provide mechanical and electrical support to keep machinery operating
- Move, align, level, and install machinery
- Records machine maintenance information
- PLC troubleshooting, programming, and installing
- PMC or other maintenance specific database software
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
