Tips for Finding E-3 Sponsorship Jobs in Arizona
Target Arizona's semiconductor corridor
Phoenix has become a hub for semiconductor manufacturing, with companies like Intel, TSMC, and Microchip Technology operating major facilities. Engineering and technical roles at these employers frequently qualify as specialty occupations and often come with E-3 sponsorship experience.
Look beyond Phoenix to Tucson
Tucson has a distinct employer base anchored by the University of Arizona, Raytheon, and a growing tech cluster. Roles in aerospace, defense research, and university administration regularly qualify for E-3 sponsorship and face less competition than Phoenix-based openings.
Search for roles tied to Arizona's defense industry
Arizona hosts major defense contractors including Raytheon, Boeing, and General Dynamics. Engineering, systems analysis, and program management roles at these employers are common E-3 qualifying positions. Use Migrate Mate to filter for defense and aerospace sponsorship opportunities specifically.
Check healthcare systems across the Phoenix metro
Banner Health, Dignity Health, and Valleywise Health are among Arizona's largest employers and regularly hire internationally for clinical, allied health, and healthcare IT roles. Specialty occupations in these systems are well-established pathways for E-3 sponsorship.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified E-3 sponsors
Identifying Arizona employers with a track record of E-3 sponsorship saves significant time. Migrate Mate aggregates jobs from employers who have sponsored E-3 visas, so you can focus your applications on companies that already understand the process.
Leverage Arizona's financial services growth
Major financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase, Charles Schwab, and Nationwide have expanded operations in Phoenix. Roles in financial analysis, compliance, and technology within these firms frequently meet specialty occupation requirements for E-3 purposes.

Which industries in Arizona sponsor the most E-3 visas?
Technology and semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, defense and aerospace, and financial services are Arizona's strongest E-3 visa sponsorship industries. The Phoenix metro's rapid expansion in chip fabrication and corporate relocations has added significant demand for specialty occupation roles, while Tucson's defense and research base provides additional opportunities for qualified Australian professionals.
Which cities in Arizona have the most E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Greater Phoenix accounts for the majority of E-3 sponsorship activity in Arizona, driven by its concentration of technology firms, financial services campuses, and healthcare systems. Tucson is the second-most active market, particularly for defense, aerospace, and university-affiliated roles. Scottsdale and Tempe, as part of the Phoenix metro, are especially active for tech and finance positions.
What types of roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Arizona?
Roles that qualify require a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field. In Arizona, common qualifying positions include software engineers, electrical and systems engineers, financial analysts, registered nurses and clinical specialists, data scientists, and program managers within defense or technology firms. Generalist roles or positions where any degree field is accepted generally do not meet the specialty occupation standard.
How do I find E-3 sponsorship jobs in Arizona?
Start by focusing your search on employers with a documented history of sponsoring E-3 visas rather than applying broadly. Migrate Mate lists jobs from employers who have sponsored E-3 and other work visas, letting you filter specifically for Arizona opportunities. Targeting industries like semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare, and defense gives you the strongest pool of E-3-ready employers in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 jobs in Arizona?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
