Which healthcare companies sponsor F-1 CPT visas in Colorado?
UCHealth, SCL Health (now Intermountain Health), Children's Hospital Colorado, and Denver Health are among the larger healthcare employers in Colorado that have historically worked with F-1 CPT students. Academic medical centers affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus are particularly active, as they are accustomed to working with international students in structured educational training programs.
Which cities in Colorado have the most healthcare F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora hold the highest concentration of healthcare CPT opportunities, largely due to the Anschutz Medical Campus and the cluster of hospitals in the metro area. Colorado Springs is a secondary market with growing healthcare infrastructure. Boulder has opportunities tied to research and health technology firms. Smaller cities like Fort Collins and Pueblo have limited but emerging clinical and public health openings.
What types of healthcare roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship in Colorado?
Roles that directly connect to a student's degree program are eligible for CPT authorization. In healthcare, this commonly includes health informatics, public health research, clinical data analysis, healthcare administration, medical coding, and laboratory research positions. Patient-facing clinical roles may qualify depending on program structure, but require explicit authorization from your Designated School Official and must align with your academic program requirements.
How do I find healthcare F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and filters jobs by visa type, including F-1 CPT, and by industry, so you can search healthcare roles in Colorado without sorting through listings that don't offer sponsorship. Because CPT eligibility depends on your program and school authorization, use Migrate Mate to identify employers open to CPT arrangements, then confirm the details with your DSO before accepting any offer.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for F-1 CPT in healthcare?
Colorado's healthcare sector is heavily influenced by its academic medical infrastructure, particularly through the University of Colorado system, which means employers in the state are relatively familiar with CPT processes. However, certain licensed clinical roles, such as direct patient care positions, may require state licensure or supervised practice agreements that add complexity for CPT students. Always confirm both your school's CPT approval and any Colorado state licensing requirements before starting a role.
