Which artificial intelligence companies sponsor E-3 visas in Florida?
Florida-based companies with documented E-3 and related specialty occupation sponsorship history in AI-adjacent roles include Chewy in Dania Beach, Citrix in Fort Lauderdale, and numerous fintech and healthtech firms in Miami's Brickell tech corridor. Large employers in defense contracting and aerospace around Orlando, including Lockheed Martin and Raytheon subsidiaries, also hire AI and machine learning engineers under specialty occupation sponsorships.
Which cities in Florida have the most artificial intelligence E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for AI sponsorship activity, driven by its growing fintech, healthtech, and enterprise software sectors. Tampa follows with a strong concentration of cybersecurity, data analytics, and cloud AI roles. Orlando's defense and simulation technology industry generates consistent demand for machine learning and computer vision engineers. Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville also have active hiring in AI infrastructure and enterprise automation roles.
What types of artificial intelligence roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
Roles that consistently meet E-3 specialty occupation requirements in AI include machine learning engineer, data scientist, natural language processing engineer, computer vision specialist, AI research scientist, and MLOps engineer. Each requires at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a directly related field. Generalist or analyst titles without a clear degree-to-role connection may face more scrutiny from consular officers reviewing specialty occupation status.
How do I find artificial intelligence E-3 sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for employers with verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you can search AI and machine learning roles in Florida without manually screening each company's filing record. Because E-3 sponsorship depends on the employer filing a Labor Condition Application with DOL, Migrate Mate's data helps you prioritize companies that have already demonstrated willingness and capacity to sponsor Australian professionals in specialty occupation roles.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in artificial intelligence?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons but does not change E-3 eligibility or prevailing wage obligations. Employers must still meet DOL prevailing wage requirements based on the specific occupation and work location using the OFLC Wage Search tool. Florida's AI hiring is spread across multiple metro areas rather than concentrated in one hub, so confirming the worksite location matters for prevailing wage calculations when the role involves multiple offices or hybrid arrangements.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 artificial intelligence jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
