WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Water Treatment Service Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert helping customers protect their equipment, save energy, and stay in compliance. This account service position will provide tower cleaning, coil cleaning, chemical cleaning and some pre-treatment. This is a remote position, but required to live in the posted area.
- Perform diagnostics on water treatment equipment: reverse osmosis Systems, water softeners, and other water treatment/conditioning systems.
- Spot opportunities to improve water systems—stopping corrosion, preventing scale, boosting efficiency, and avoiding downtime.
- Perform on-site water testing & analysis (don’t worry, we train you).
- Determine condition of system fluids, identify malfunctions and take corrective actions.
- Provide routine preventative maintenance services; inspection, cleaning, and calibration of system components as necessary to assigned accounts.
- Accurately report service calls.
- Schedule service and sales calls, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting.
- Maintain customer chemical inventory which may include lifting 5 gallon pails that weigh approximately 55-75 lbs.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to build relationships.
- 3-5 years of work experience in a field using mechanical principles.
- Experience in the water treatment or related industry a plus.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, some weekends required.
- Very organized with exceptional follow-through abilities. Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help customers solve real problems.
- Comfortable traveling within your territory.
- Valid driver’s license.
