The Flight Operations ACC Tower Liaison serves as a subject matter expert supporting Line Operations, the LGA Chief Pilot Office and Delta Professional Services (DPS). This part-time role is based in Atlanta (ATL) and assigned to LaGuardia (LGA), providing operational support within the Airport Customer Center (ACC). The Liaison plays a critical role in real-time flight operations, ensuring coordination and communication between pilots, ACC teams, and other operational departments.
This role works on an "as needed" basis, this is a part-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for pilots regarding operational issues at ACC.
- Support pilots during safety-related events, MCC coordination, and conflict resolution.
- Facilitate cross-divisional communication within ACC to resolve operational challenges.
- Liaise with CPO and other departments to ensure timely problem resolution.
- Monitor operational communication channels to mitigate disruptions.
- Analyze flight schedules and collaborate with ACS to identify and address operational impacts.
- Monitor and assist with DOT 3/4 compliance.
- Evaluate pushback delays for accuracy and identify operational trends.
Shift Structure
- Coverage is provided 365 days per year with one daily shift
