The Native American Student Services (NASS) Coordinator provides day-to-day leadership and coordination of services, programs, and student support initiatives serving Native American and Indigenous students at Idaho State University.
Reporting to the Director of Tribal Relations, the NASS Coordinator plays a central role in creating a welcoming student center; supporting student engagement, persistence and graduation, and connecting students with campus resources that promote academic and personal success.

Which education companies and institutions sponsor F-1 OPT visas in Idaho?
The University of Idaho, Boise State University, Idaho State University, and Lewis-Clark State College are among the most active employers of F-1 OPT workers in Idaho's education sector. Larger K-12 school districts, including Boise Independent School District and Nampa School District, have also hired international candidates on OPT for specialized instructional and support roles.
Which cities in Idaho have the most education F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs?
Boise has the highest concentration of education F-1 OPT opportunities, driven by Boise State University and a growing cluster of edtech and training organizations. Moscow is significant due to the University of Idaho campus. Pocatello, home to Idaho State University, also generates consistent hiring in education for OPT candidates, particularly in STEM-adjacent instructional roles.
What types of education roles typically qualify for F-1 OPT sponsorship in Idaho?
Roles that align closely with a qualifying degree field tend to work best for OPT authorization. In Idaho's education sector, this includes curriculum developers, instructional designers, research assistants, academic advisors, data analysts in institutional research, and teaching roles in STEM disciplines. Positions requiring a specific degree field are generally stronger fits for OPT than generalist administrative roles.
How do I find education F-1 OPT sponsorship jobs in Idaho?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students and filters jobs by visa type, including F-1 OPT, so you can browse education roles in Idaho without sorting through listings that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers who have actively hired OPT candidates in the education sector, making it more targeted than general job searches for F-1 students in Idaho.
Are there state-specific considerations for F-1 OPT in Idaho's education sector?
Idaho does not have state-level immigration programs that affect OPT, but its education sector is heavily anchored to public universities and rural K-12 districts, which can have longer hiring cycles and specific licensure requirements. For teaching roles, Idaho requires state licensure even during OPT, so candidates should confirm whether their role and degree field satisfy both OPT authorization requirements and Idaho educator licensing standards.
